In addition, students will join either ACA, ASCA, or AMHCA as a “student” and acquire professional liability insurance through this organization. This insurance is needed for any practice of counseling. Documentation of membership and insurance are required for successful completion of the course. Students will actively participate in class discussion related to their findings and reactions.
