Causes of mental disorders include stress, loneliness, depression, drug and substance abuse, learning disabilities and physical illnesses. Prevention Of Mental Problems

Prevention of mental problems is essential in time before the situation becomes worse and permanent.  It is, therefore, necessary that individuals watch over others in the community and present anyone who starts showing any signs of abnormal behavior to the medical practitioners in time.

Although the diagnosis can be made and medical treatment administered to solve mental illnesses, the community is the primary cure of these disorders. 

Improvement in the rate of socialization with the patient and emotional support will help the mentally ill individual to get better.
